White beaded “Elsie Tu” bag
covered with ‘pearls’ (possibly
real pearls). 12” chain handle;
gold tone worn. Made in Hong
Kong. Inside slightly soiled
(not badly), all around inside
of frame. Decorative
filigree/gold toned clasp, in
the shape of two scepters,
meeting at the orb; gold tone
scepters somewhat dulled.
Excellent quality. Probably
1930’s – 1950’s (based on the
type of chain).
